Disk Defragmenter
(Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter) When
your computer writes new files to the hard drive, it doesn't necessarily write them
in order. Thus, the data can become fragmented. This can cause your computer to
slow down, because when it tries to access data it has to search for it first. It is
recommended to run this tool once per week.  You can even schedule it to run at
night with Scheduled Tasks.

Too many start up items?
(Start>Run>Type msconfig>Click on Startup Tab)
This utility allows you to view most of the items that start up when your computer is
booting up. Here you can deselect items that do not need to start when your
machine is loading.  Be careful with what you deselect, as some items should be
loading. Feel free to contact us to make sure you are keeping the correct items in
start up.
